Teaching, motivating, inspiring and learning from others are my passions. I enjoy connecting with individuals and hearing what they have to say and how they think; what motivates them and why? How can each person's unique skills be recognized and utilized? I thrive when helping people.
I have been working in the credit union system for just over 5 years. My previous roles provided consulting services and project management support to Canadian credit unions including the implementation and support of the National Credit Card Program.
I have been a life-long member of Bulkley Valley Credit Union (in Smithers, BC, Canada), am a 5-time recipient of the Credit Union Foundation of BC Bursary, have been on the BC credit union Young Leaders working committee since its inception in 2016 and have been Chairing the BCYL network since March of 2018.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Community Leadership Program Certificate from UBC, a Certificate of Business Management and a Certificate of Human Resource Management from SFU and a professional designation in HR.
Outside of work, I am a snowboard and yoga enthusiast.
