Alexandre (Alex) is the Vice President of Planning & Change Management at SchoolsFirst FCU, and has been with the organization since 2017. In this role, Alex collaborates with senior executives across all business units on strategic and business planning efforts, development of KPIs, key committees related to project management and branches, top strategic initiatives and organizational prioritization efforts.
At SchoolsFirst FCU, Alex also leads, develops and engages a team of experienced resources (portfolio/team manager, project managers and business analysts). Alex also provides portfolio-level governance as the Enterprise Project Management Office leader and spearheads special programs (e.g. mergers) as needed.
Prior to his involvement in the credit union movement, Alex held diverse management and information technology roles in multiple industries for Fortune 500 firms as well as consulting. Alex has successful led large, global projects to external clients as a consulting manager for Deloitte and IBM. In addition, Alex has been involved in several M&A projects throughout his career, including due diligence and integration phases.
Alex holds an MBA from UCLA, an MS in Information Systems from CSU Fullerton, and certificates from MIT, Stanford and the University of Chicago. Alex is also pursuing the CCE certification through the CUES CEO Institute program. In addition, Alex holds several certifications including CUES Certified Credit Union Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager, Prosci Change Practitioner and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
