Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Cornell Certificate Program

Starts:  Jan 19, 2022 08:00 AM (CT)
Ends:  Mar 23, 2022 05:00 PM (CT)

Commit to going beyond mere compliance and build a truly aware and inclusive work culture.

It’s every manager’s and employee’s responsibility to make your credit union a more supportive and engaging place to work. An inclusive work environment is not just a nice-to-have, it can make or break an organization, and students of this program will seek to understand the perceptual, institutional, and psychological processes that impact the ways people interact with each other under the guidance of Michelle M. Duguid, Associate Professor, Associate Dean of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell University.

Over the course of 2 MONTHS, 4 COURSES, and 2 LIVE-TAUGHT SESSIONS, we’ll balance academic research regarding employee engagement and identifying interventions surrounding unconscious bias with practical, specific, diversity and inclusion strategies. We’ll also explore:

  • Improving engagement
  • Counteracting unconscious bias
  • Diversity and inclusion at work
  • Fostering an inclusive climate
