Hey all!
We made it to the end, I have really enjoyed all the reading and the different discussion posts. Unfortunately, I did not have any opportunity for coaching moments with my peers this week.
But I did review the list of questions. Here are two that I will keep in my back pocket for "coachable moments" with either my peers or any project teams I'll be leading.
- What did you notice during that interaction/meeting?
- What is working for you right now?
For me (an aspiring leader), these questions feel more applicable to working with, coaching, and learning from my peers and coworkers. I often work very closely with other Marketing strategists and I often lead cross-department project teams. These questions can help me coach my peers and project team members to work better together.
Looking forward to our discussion tomorrow!

Were you able to take time this week to Identify at least one coachable moment with someone on your team and engage in a discussion? What went well, what can you do differently next time?
Our second task provided prepared questions for coaching moments. Which did you pull out to keep in your back pocket? Have you used them yet, maybe in your coachable moment?
What is stopping you from doing X
What options do you have to work through or deal with X?
What would be the impact of completing that?
What did you notice during the interaction/meeting?
What is working for you right now?
What can you learn from this that will help you in the future?
What is challenging you about this situation?
What is a challenging step you feel you could take?
What assumptions do you feel you are making with X?
What is the first step you feel you could/should take?
I am looking forward to tomorrow's roundtable session. If you haven't already, be sure to register!

We made it to the end! Let's take some time to reflect on what we've learned in the last month. There are 2 tasks to complete with some questions. Take some time to reflect as we'll be discussing these questions on Wednesday.
P.S. there is still time to register to the roundtable on Thursday! Can't wait to see you there!
