Bio

Deborah served as a Review Board Adjudicator, Physical Disability Board of Review providing reassessment and adjudication for the Department of Defense (DoD), physical disability ratings impacting military members of the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Cost Guard. She interacted with Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veteran Affairs and DoD offices. She served as colonel for the U.S. Air Force Reserves/Active Duty with over 33 years of service. Deborah holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University. Deborah previously served as Senior Vice President/Area Manager for Kaiser Permanente Health Plan and Medical Centers in Sacramento and Roseville, where she managed 11,000 employees and an annual operating budget of more than $1 billion. In 2007, she received the Women Who Mean Business Award from the Sacramento Business Journal. Born in Philadelphia, Penn., Deborah was elected to the Travis Credit Union Board of Directors in 2008. She currently services as the Vice-Chairperson for the Board and the chairperson of the Nominating Committee, previously chairing the governance committee. Additionally, Deborah current is serving In her fourth (4) term to the credit union board, appointed by Governor Newson, to the California Military Counsel advising the governor office on relevant issues to military installations and service members throughout California. Additionally, Deborah serve on the Board for Paradise Valley Estates chairing the Governance Committee.
