Advertising on Reddit?

    Good Morning Everyone,

I hope that you're all staying healthy and maintaining appropriate social distancing when out and about...

Just curious to know whether anyone has advertised on Reddit. If you have, how successful was your campaign vs. other avenues for advertising online (i.e. Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)?

We're considering getting our feet wet and wondering about anyone else's experience before we give it a try.

    Hi Debbie,

We have been talking about trying Reddit for a while, but have been apprehensive. I think we are waiting for the right campaign/message or until we come online with social listening to track any poor feedback and adjust our message. Maybe we are overthinking it ; ) ?

    We currently advertise with Facebook.

    Hi John,

Thank you for responding to my post about advertising on Reddit.

Since our field of membership is targeted toward federal government employees (non-military) and federal government contractors, we found that Federal News Network has a fed-oriented page that would serve as a good example for us to follow with advertising here.

It's our understanding that you have to be highly targeted and stick to specific focuses for messages (not product pushing) – educational/helpful approach so that you don't get blasted by the readership!
