CRM - Hubspot

    Hi Everyone,

    I'd like to learn if anyone has worked with CRM platforms, and if so which ones. Currently, we are using Hubspot but just now getting into the CRM part of the product. Internally there is a request for the CRM to connect to our Core and to be used by all staff to manage member transactions. Does anyone have any experience, knowledge, or insight into using a CRM platform as the go-to for transactions?

    Any information would be most helpful.

    Good Morning,

     

    We are currently using Symitar (Episys) which is a Jack Henry product as our core system. They offer their own CRM product, Synapsys. This does integrate nicely with the core. I honestly believe to have a successful CRM, it should integrate to provide ease of use. The biggest challenge we have found is similar to owning a smart phone, you can have it for years and uncover it has all of these cool features you didn't realize existed. You have to have individuals who are willing to "own" the CRM and consistently look for ways to get the most out of the product you are paying for.

    We use ours in a variety of ways, but initially and most robustly use it for member follow up (Service Events). You can set service level standards for follow up and it provides great reporting. It can also be used for referrals, sales campaigns and profitability. A good CRM program is an elephant and you have to be careful not to try to eat it all at once.

    We also use Synapsys.  I am curious to understand how you are using it for sales campaigns and profitability.  I want to make sure I am taking advantages of all the system has to offer.​

    Thank you, Danielle, appreciate the information. Currently, we have Fiserv DNA as our core. They do have some tools to assist but it has limited CRM capabilities for the Marketing team.

    Hi Taruna,
    We use parts of the HubSpot CRM. We use their marketing, sales, and COS tools as well. HubSpot has some limitations on storing member data so it's limited in its use.

    We spoke last month about PerformanceDelta.com - We use that system basically as a CRM system.  There is integration to core - but not to the extent you described.  We still are able to manage future contacts, keep a history of past contacts with members, and create calling lists, etc.  I have had fully integrated CRMs systems in past roles (with a bank), and given we can pair it with being able to pay for referrals, I like this set up better.

    Since I had some interest in our system, I did have a discussion with the vendor.  They will also customize solutions for credit unions, and will do it at little or no fee if it is functionality that can be reused for other CUs.

    Hi Eric,

    Thank you for the information. I don't recall but do you use Performance Delta as an email service platform as well? the challenge here is that we need a platform that can manage several aspects of marketing and sales. HubSpot is so far a pretty decent tool but I'm hoping that there is more out there that can enhance our efforts. I appreciate the feedback.
