    Dear all,

Are you placing travel restrictions on you staff for the next 6 months  to hot bed areas or family visiting them from hot bed areas?  IF so are you requiring them to quarantine before returning to work?

    Hi David,

We restricted all travel for all associates for work purposes for the remainder of the year. To my knowledge, we have not put measures in place for those that travel personally for a vacation or to visit family. That is an interesting scenario and one I will run by our HR for some thoughts on that aspect.

    Thanks.

Our current policy is that any travel to a hot spot as defined by Federal or State health officials, or any air travel, requires a 14-day quarantine after return, or if you obtain a COVID-19 test which is negative a week after return the employee could return sooner than the 14 days. If the employee has a position permitting them to work from home, that can be an option for dealing with the quarantine.

    Good Morning,

We have also discontinued any company related travel for the remainder of the year. In regards to personal travel, our HR team reviews each situation on a case-by-case basis. Typically we will restrict return to work for 14 calendar days assuming they remain symptom-free. They can usually telework during this quarantine period. In cases in which travel was done by car and they stayed with a family member that has been teleworking for example, we may not impose a lengthy quarantine restriction.

We also consider guests that have stayed in their homes. It may be more difficult to monitor individual employees now that many states have begun reopening. Our best protection may be social distancing, masks and ongoing and consistent disinfecting.

We do have our teams working in rotated telework schedules, 2-weeks in branch and 2-weeks teleworking with the same teams. This allows us a backup team in the event of an exposure and helps when we do have to impose a quarantine period.

    Stay Happy & Stay Healthy,

At VyStar CU, Jacksonville, FL we've suspended all business travel for officials and staff until further notice.  We continue to monitor the situation and will evaluate travel as a possibility later in the year based on the status of mandates at the local, state, and national levels.  To my knowledge, we have not addressed personal travel per se. Our small community has the highest # of infections per zip code in the county, although that rate is still much lower than areas like Chicago or Detroit. It would seem weird to impose a ban on travel to our own homes.

We are too small to have A & B teams and infection among staff is my nightmare. We just follow protocals in the office for sanitation.
